This is a 5-class series with USCRI Vermont to provide technology and digital literacy training to volunteers who work with refugees.
| 1 | 11/9/2026 | Knowing Your Rights as a Migrant | This class covers rights as an immigrant, the Immigration and Nationality Act, and resources for them to be able to access their rights whenever they may need. |
| 2 | 11/16/2026 | Phone Scams | This class covers the basic information of phone scams, including making strong security choices for your device, identifying common phone scams, and you’ll learn systems people have developed to combat scams. |
| 3 | 11/30/2026 | Internet Scams | This class covers ways to identify scams, and provides examples of past scams as well as the ways in which they keep evolving, all to help you build systems to prevent yourself from getting scammed. |
| 4 | 12/7/2026 | Introduction to Gmail | This class covers the basics of using Gmail, including composing and sending emails, organizing messages, and managing contacts. |
| 5 | 12/14/2026 | Introduction to Computer Usage | This class covers high-level computer usage, including learning more about your own computer and how to use it (including the keyboard and mouse), as well as functions you have access to, such as accessibility settings. |
