Comcast announced a $65,000 grant for Technology for Tomorrow at our Password Management class, hosted at The Janet S. Munt Family Room, last night with Burlington Parent University. Comcast’s generous gift supports our Digital Navigator program. Comcast’s Senior Vice President of New England Carolyne Hannan, along with Director of Community Impact Brad Palazzo and Daniel M. Glanville, joined us to present the award. State Senator Kesha Ram Hinsdale, Director of English Learning Programs for Burlington School District, Miriam Esham-Cating, and members of our board, including Vijay Desai, Denise Torrey, Scot Barker, Chad DeJong, and Mahtab Mitra also attended. During this class, we were able to provide food and groceries to participants thanks to Sarah Sinnott. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible!

American Connection Corps member Wolde North taught last night’s class, with the support from Burlington Parent University volunteers and staff, including three translators. Learners, primarily recent immigrant parents in the United States, asked questions about safest ways to share and store their important information digitally.

Sincerest thanks to Comcast! Your support provides access and helps close the digital divide in our community.
