We had the pleasure of hosting our 3rd annual Digital Equity and Access Roundtable (DEARvt) at the South Burlington Public Library last Friday. This event, with attendees from across Vermont and beyond, discussed recent changes in digital equity landscape and steps we can take together to help reduce the digital equity gap.
We explored our “Reducing the Gap” theme through large group discussions and breakouts that centered on topics related to digital equity — specifically, we discussed AI and Tools, Cybersecurity, and Funding and Sustainability — and how these affect the communities we serve and our community partners. Our DEARvt conversations gave us greater understanding of the challenges we face and clearer paths forward we can take together.
