This week, Maliki LaForce attended and participated in Microsoft TechSpark Fellowship Live: a webinar and discussion that brings TechSpark fellows and alums together to discuss digital literacy.
When describing the experience, Maliki wrote “I’m glad to help the current fellows and provide insights on curriculum creation during this Fellowship Live breakout room! My room discussed how to build curriculums from the ground up, using agile methodologies and a focus on the objective learning points. When we teach Microsoft Word, it’s easy to teach all the cool functions, but what is your demographic going to use it for? Pivoting that experience to fit the needs of our community is what is most important, regardless of topic.
