Meet Damien Royer! Originally from Portland, Maine, Damien spent a lot of time in the restaurant industry through high school before moving to Burlington in 2019 to attend Champlain College. At Champlain, he studied game production management, leading teams of developers to make games about tiny warlocks, and magic potatoes. After graduating from Champlain in May of 2023, he returned to line cooking before eventually being contacted by Maliki LaForce. Maliki introduced Damien to Vijay Desai, and joined T4T not long after in January of 2024!
In his free time, Damien enjoys playing games, riding his bike, climbing, and cooking! He has a penchant for Calvin and Hobbes, cookbooks, and puzzles (namely sudoku and Portal 2). In class, Damien puts an emphasis on taking things one step at a time. “Focus on getting a handle on the fundamentals. The stratosphere will come later.”
