On January 23rd, Maliki LaForce from Technology for Tomorrow (T4T) attended Microsoft’s AI in Motion: Empowering Every Mind as a speaker! Maliki, alongside two other TechSpark Fellows, discussed how AI has impacted nonprofits, and what steps we’ve taken to build an ecosystem connecting private, public, and nonprofit offices together.
“A lot of our job is to help alleviate the fear that has built up around AI; I always tell my students that AI is like a hammer: Yes, a hammer can build houses and do a lot of cool things, while others may use that hammer to break a window. It’s a tool that we need to learn to use ethically,” said Maliki at the conference.
