We at Technology for Tomorrow firmly believe that all individuals, regardless of ethnicity, age, or background, deserve open access to technology and technology classes.
We strive to create a world with digital equity, where all people have access to the technology, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive.
We bridge the digital divide and empower under-resourced communities by working in partnership to provide access to affordable digital literacy learning opportunities.
Technology for Tomorrow believes in a world where every individual can use a smart phone, hold a job in a technology-focused occupation, and hope to bridge the digital divide through our efforts
The stories of how our programs make a difference:
“Sam,” an older adult, learned how to use an iPad to meet with his doctor via Zoom. Sam also found out how to use his new tech skills to virtually play cards with his friends. Sam’s become more confident and eager to learn more things he can do with his iPad to connect with his community.
“Ruth,” an older adult, had never gone online to shop or access services. But, with her car’s license up for renewal, she needed to learn how to complete the registration process on the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) website. During an hourlong Zoom session, we taught her how to do this and complete the renewal. Ruth also learned how to safely shop online and purchased a few items to be delivered to her doorstep.
Our Impact Reports define each of our years and showcase the highlights of each year. With the most recent year, 2023, we were able to work with many individuals, ending with 2,000+ students! If that interests you, read more below by clicking the button
